Our brand name is derived from a semi-finished product used in coin production – a flat, round metal disc known as a "ronde." These rondes become the finely minted heart pieces of every Rondoro creation. But there’s even more behind our name: the second part contains the Spanish word for gold – “oro.” Gold, like our jewelry – and gold, like the moments we share with our loved ones.

Rondoro is a subsidiary of Münze Österreich AG, one of the world’s leading mints. We are committed to upholding its high standards of quality and longstanding tradition.

Sustainable business practices are especially important to us: the core of every piece of jewelry – the ronde – is minted in Vienna by Münze Österreich. We also source our precious metals from them. These metals come exclusively from LBMA-certified suppliers and only from European refineries that are required to follow strict guidelines along the entire supply chain, ensuring socially, ethically, and environmentally responsible practices, as well as the protection of human rights.

Additionally, our jewelry is 100% Handmade in Vienna – the design originates in Vienna, the minting happens in Vienna, final assembly takes place in our Vienna-based goldsmith’s workshop, and we ship directly from Vienna. These short supply chains are not only sustainable, but they also ensure very fast delivery times for our customers.
